7th Path Self-Hypnosis Teacher
7th Path Self-Hypnosis® is a revolutionary holistic form of hypnosis, unlike all “classical” forms that came before it. It has been likened to being like the first “antivirus software” for the human mind. This is because it focuses first on removing blockages to success and then enables the self-hypnosis practitioners to more readily accept the suggestions that he or she gives oneself for positive change.
What is hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a normal, naturally occurring state of consciousness. If you’ve ever driven someplace and realized you didn’t think about how to get there, you have experienced a light hypnotic state. Your conscious mind stepped out of the picture for a moment, and your subconscious “took the wheel”. Similarly, we experience light states of hypnosis when we are deeply into a movie, or on the boundary between waking and sleep.
Hypnosis allows you to access all the healing resources inherent within the subconscious mind, promoting natural healing from within. Hypnosis is used to help people discover the subconscious reasons for their symptoms, behaviors, or habits.
When those reasons are discovered, certain tools and techniques are used to help release them and relearn a new positive way of thinking, subconsciously. This is called hypnotherapy. Hypnotherapy allows us to use the power of the subconscious mind to achieve breakthroughs on issues that may have troubled us for years.
Hypnosis has been sanctioned and used by the medical community since 1958 to help patients overcome chronic pain, create anesthesia, and heal psychogenic illnesses.
